SCOTTEVEST/SeV, maker of Technology Enabled Clothing (TEC), has just launched an online video editing contest featuring green screen footage of Apple Co-Founder and Dancing with the Stars contestant Steve Wozniak (aka Woz). Participants are invited to download Woz footage from SCOTTEVEST, remix it into something original and funny, and post it to YouTube. There are over $4000 in prizes on the line, and plenty of cool material to work with, including spoofs of The Matrix, Star Wars, James Bond, and other pop-culture icons… all starring Woz. My students would like to enter the Green Screen SeV contest. Is there a release that a parent or legal guardian could sign since they are not 18?

If the parents consent to entry, there is no problem. We would welcome student entries.

My students are trying to enter the contest. We are able to download the video (in Mac format) but the download will not open in iTunes, Real Player, Quick Time, iMovie, or anything else we can think of.
We could try downloading the iPod version, but the quality would be compromised.
Do you have a better solution?

I’m a student in Mrs. White’s class, and I think I have a good idea for your video. Hopefully, you could film this soon. It can be shot anywhere, not necessarily in front of green screen. Here’s the script:
[show 2 men standing sideways to the camera, looking at each other, one's wearing a scottevest]
Man 1: Hey, is that a scottevest?
Man 2: It sure is!
Man 1: What all can you hold in it?
Man 2: Here, I’ll show you. It holds my iPod, my Blackberry, my camera.
(Man 2 takes everything out as he says it)
Man 1: Cool! Anything else?
Man 2: Of course! It holds my desktop too!
(here’s where the green screen comes in, Man 2 opens his jacket away from the camera and pulls out a computer, which I’ll put in later. Act like your pulling a medicine ball out of your jacket. Man 2 then tosses the computer aside)
Man 1: No way!!
Man 2: There’s more! Fluffy, come on out!
(man 2 opens his jacket again and I’ll put in a cat jumping out of it,
Man 1 & 2 react accordingly)
Man 1: That’s awesome!
Man 2: I know!
*muffled voice coming from the jacket*: Hey!
(Man 1 and 2 look at Man 2’s jacket, confused. Man 2 opens it up away from the camera again, and a hand sticks out and points up at Man 2)
Voice unmuffled: You forgot about me too!

I am a student of Mrs.White’s class and I am participating in the video contest you posted on your web site. I was wondering if you could redo a shot of you doing some slick cool break dance moves, but i need you to wear the same clothes you were wearing on this video (Scott_Jordan_s_Gadget_Dance_computer.mp4)
