A pack of wolves is now sharing our neighborhood.  This one was spotted nearby. Cute but can be vicious to dogs, small children and people….

A lone black wolf jumps a fence into the backyard of a Greenhome to interact with three Alaskan Malamutes. This exciting footage was shot last Thursday afternoon in the Greenhorn Subdivision just south of Ketchum.

On March 6, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar affirmed the decision by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to remove the gray wolf from the endangered species list in all states with the exception of Wyoming. It is estimated that there are 1,600 wolves in the U.S. Rockies.
