I sent an email with suggestions, I though I'd repeat it here.
1. Add attachment points, via buttons like the Koyono Black Coat series, or snaps like the Barbour jackets, for the fleece lining, because it tends to want to fall forward and out of the Jacket. To me, the Koyono button approach looks and feels more secure.
2. Add an attachmet in the center of the back, again, to keep the fleece liner secure and in place when handling the coat. Maybe a version of the bungee like around the neck, or something like the straps on the cuffs.
3. A pocket to keep the hands warm, maybe something of fleece. I use the coat daily and the weather temp. is in the teens weekly, so far I have not found a good handwarming pocket.
4. Larger zipper pulls for the side pockets. When in the cold, those little zipper pulls get lost with gloves on. Maybe attach a nylon pull and enlarge the zipper. The side zippers will be used a lot. Getting into and out of the pockets quickly may prove to be critical for Law Enforcement.
5. I'd like to echo the request of Black.
6. Not all that sure putting a card in every pocket is a good idea. We can figure it out. I have a card in an area that does not have an exit. Not sure how it got there, but I used a magnifying glass to verify that there was no way to get the card out, no zipper there. Also, clean up the loose threads.
7. Now I have to mention that I love this jacket. The concept is on the money, and I would not say it is rough around the edges but could use a little refinement. It has truely become my daily wear coat. With all the snow this year in Denver, "waterproof" makes a difference.
8. I bought a small SeV 4.0 Tactical w/ fleece liner, which fits comfortably. I thought a small Milan would fit too. The Milan was too small between the shoulders and in the back, so the Milan is a closer fit.
9. Please make some more medium Milan's soon. If you don't, you know you will be hearing this all year long.
Thanks for your genius.
I need to make a correction. After further inspection of how the Fleece inserts into the shell, around the neck area, there is a flap with velcro tabs on the shell and the and an identical one on the fleece insert. This flap on the shell can be attached to the other half of the velcro tabs on the fleece insert, securing the fleece insert to the outer shell well. The fleece does not fall forward when handling the jacket, using this method, pretty smart design.
