My best story is wearing the leather jacket and going through security in Prague. The leather jacket doesn't really "look" like it is loaded with pockets and hiding places like some of the other jackets and vests do. When I wear the vest, it is still surprising to them how much shows up on x-ray.

But I had cameras, video cameras, ipod, noise cancelling headphones, pens, cables, etc. more or less loading my leather jacket down with the heaviest bits as a certain regional carrier makes you check any bags over 10 kg and my RedOxx Air Boss with computer came in at more than twice that.

I really didn't want to check that bag so I took everything heavy out and left only the lightest clothing. Once the comupter and Red Oxx bag were through I was left waiting for my jacket. By then a crowd was gathering to watch the x-ray. Seven airport security types decided to check out the assortment of wires and gizmos and were playing a kind of "name that gadget"

When the jacket came out they had to open it up and were astounded by the design. Fortunately I had plenty of time that day. Handing it to me the guy only said "I am glad we didn't find a knife on the x-rays....I don;t think we could have ever locatedthe right pocket."
