SeV Ultimate Hoodie Review (http://www.krunker.com/2006/03/04/scottevests-ultimate-hoodie-review/)

Let’s face it - Hoodies are one of the best pieces of clothing ever invented. They’re warm; they protect you from the rain and snow; they’re great to work out in. Thus, I think it’s great that SCOTTeVEST decided to make a hoodie designed for the gadget crazy folks out there … or perhaps just for the folks that need some way to carry that mobile phone and iPod while they run or walk about. PocketNow takes a look at the SCOTTeVEST Ultimate Hoodie here on their website (Gosh you have to love the name ULTIMATE Hoodie.. the ULTIMATE ONE baby!). So here’s the verdict:

I do find myself choosing the SeV Hoodie over other jackets recently. Which is strange, as I like to change jackets throughout the week. Whether it’s because I don’t want to wear a heavy jacket, or if I’m just needing something to go out to the mailbox with, the SeV Ultimate Hoodie has been making my other jackets rather jealous. Perfect for the gadget collector, as it has a good amount of pocket space, but also stylish enough that you don’t have to be a complete geek to wear one.

I'm so happy today, I got to wear my new Ultimate Hoodie and I just love it. It's so comfortable and I really like the feel of the thin fleece.

Two of my favorite pockets are the change pockets and the pocket on the right hand side just behind the front main pocket, genius!! Also the magnetic closers in the two front main pocket reinsures me that anything I put in that pocket stays in that pocket.

I would really love to get the green hoodie and the grey hoodie. I think I'll put those change pockets to work and save up my pennies.

Anyway I just wanted to say Scott great job!!

Thanks for the video review Jorge. We have not announced the Clear Touch on the hoodies as we are slowly bringing them out.

Thanks.

I've been wearing my hoodie since the day got it four months ago. It's the best peice of clothing I think I've ever owned! It doesn't ever get too hot while wearing it. With other hoodies I feel like I have to take it off after I get warm because I start to sweat, only to then get the cold chills. My only complaint is that there seems to be loose threads but the construction seems to be well thought out. The design is perfect. After buying the hoodie about a week later I decided I loved it so much I ordered the Evolution Jacket. I wear the two as a system and it's been good to temps near freezing, but long exposure in colder weather isn't something I'd recommend, you'll want a thicker fleece for that.

Major kudos to the design team at Scottevest... you've made me a believer and a walking billboard.

Thanks so much for the kind words. Would you mind submitting it on our website as a review, here (http://www.scottevest.com/company/reviews.shtml?pr_page_id=hoodie&pr_source=email).

Yo hacam,

Firstly, we are phasing in ClearTouch on this product and thus the website for this product does not even mention this as a feature, see this link (http://www.scottevest.com/v3_store/40_hoodie.shtml). Secondly, if you wanted to grip, why bother posting here instead of simply calling/emailing us directly at sales@scottevest.com so we can offer you an exchange??? Makes no sense to me. If the product is unworn with all tags attached, we can offer you an exchange. Buyers beware: you catch more bees with honey than vinigar :)

Scott

I just received my hoodie, and the L came with the Clear Touch. :) It didn't fit, so I exchanged it for a XL. However, to my surprise, the XL did NOT have the clear touch, even though the website for the hoodie says it comes with it. What happened? Was I accidentally sent an older version?

Buyers beware, you may not get what you paid for.
