Scott created SCOTTEVEST/SeV® to solve a very common problem: he needed a way to carry and organize all his gadgets and gear. Since then, he has developed SeV into a successful business, and a great company in general.
This thread is an opportunity to get inside the mind behind SCOTTEVEST and find out what it takes to make SeV tick. So please, post away!

Hi Scott,
Do you have any plans of making your own spin on shorts?
Have you thought of maybe making a few hats with the Superman Logo?
:)
Thanks,
Jorge

We used to make a version of the hidden cargo pants as shorts, but stopped doing them awhile ago for a variety of reasons, namely people didn't like the "length" of the shorts. Also, we have the Ultimate Cargo Pants, which have removable legs.
As far as Superman hats, licensing the S would likely be very expensive.
How do we add videos in community? We should post instructions, and add videos.
Jim Landi, are you subscribed to all threads?

Here is a test of the YouTube video embed. Pretty cool! I'll post directions... if the video is up on YouTube, it takes a simple copy and paste to do it.

now, it would be awesome if there was a widget that allowed you to press a button and record your own video from your camera. not sure if it exists, but it should; only downside is uploading too much video, but i think space is cheap..

How breathable is the Evolution Jacket? Is the material heavy? Would it be comfortable to wear indoors during winter, spring, and fall?

Hi hotsauceguy - I've been wearing mine in the mornings (which are in the 50s) up to when it's in the 70s as a vest. It's windproof, but heavier than a windbreaker... last winter I would wear a fleece or sweater under it and be OK even if it was in the 40s/upper 30s. You can definitely wear it across three seasons. I find it to be breathable, too - good for hikes, etc. The Evolution is my favorite Jacket (but I don't have the Quantum yet!). The Evo/Quantum are made from the same type of material.

Thank You, that does answer part of my question. But would the jacket be comfortable enough to wear indoors? Does the jacket look to much like an outdoor jacket to look stylish indoors? And if you could answer the same question fro the Fleece 5.0. Does the Fleece 5.0 look to much like an outdoor jacket to be stylishly worn indoors?

That's a tough question. Clearly this jacket looks right outdoors, and very few jackets are truly intended to be worn indoors. I think this jacket in particular looks good no matter where it is worn, but like most jackets would seem out of place when worn indoors.
Hey Scott,
I've got a guy friend who is thinking of buying a vest but he is of small build so the only size that fits him is within the women's section. Is there a noticeable difference in style when wearing? Would it make him look feminine? Or can he expect perhaps an "extra small" version of the men's travel vest?
