I am writing from Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I will be ordering one or two of your evolution jackets as soon as the USPS option is available as mentioned in your video. My wife and I both love the designs.

My question is simple. Will you be developing a winter or cold weather version of any of your products?

Hi Tyrus! We seem to be getting a lot of Canadian activity lately - thanks for coming by.

I wear my Evolution more than anything else. It's a little warm here in NY for it now, but it was my everyday gear when the weather was a little cooler. Sleeves off, I still utilize it as a vest on cool nights. Very glad you like the designs, and a great choice.

Our philosophy for winter/cold weather gear is to provide layering options. That said, we do have a winter-oriented system debuting within a few weeks. It will combine a winter shell called the "Quantum Jacket" with the new Fleece 5.0 Jacket. They will not connect, but are intended to be used together, and are suitable for use as a ski system. The Quantum has an internal waist cinch aka powder skirt, sealed seams, removable hood and other features you would expect on a high-quality winter jacket. Layered with the Fleece, it should do nicely. The Quantum material is the same as on the Evolution (although it is a combination of different weaves on the Quantum), and its windproof lamination goes a long way in the outdoors. Oh, and combined, the Quantum + Fleece 5.0 (called the "Scott Jordan Signature System") have over 50 pockets.... Is that enough for you? ;)

USPS should be up and running soon. We intended to launch this already but need to upgrade some software before it can go live. That's scheduled for this week, so you don't have too much longer to wait.

So, dumb it down for me a little: What's the differences between the Quantum and the Evolution jackets?

And how is the System if I use a 4.0 fleece instead?
