Don't know if anyone mentioned this but I have seen in Roadwired products inside their case products velcroed pockets inside the pockets that can be removed. If Scottevest had such an item it would solve a couple of problems. In the back and inside some of the front pockets I put food items when hiking or out on trips (ie Disney). movies, etc., a velcroed pocket that would have maybe insulated lining for hot/cold items, and main reason to protect jacket from spills/stains. The additional pocket would be taken out so you can wash it and that it have a "zip" seal so it doesn't leak food out.
