Would like to see a "manual" created with pictures and hints, (Like the Gaget review), that would explain the features of the jacket and where they are located. This could be available as a download and maybe in color PDF format at a small size that would allow the pages to be folded properly/stapled and fit in the jacket. Besides showing someone how to find and work with the product properly it could be used as an advertising piece when talking to someone about what you are wearing.

well over 2 years and 1300+ hits on this thread and still no manual. They do include a few hundred useless 'business' size cards instead. Such a waste of paper! Is it too much to ask for some basic documentation?!

Believe it or not, I made up a quick sketch of my own - mainly for planning - as if planning you pocket scheme is of any importance!!

Actually I have a few Scottevest jackets, fleeces and the pocket layouts are quite different. I would find myself throwing on a new piece and then while I'm out and around I would be reaching for a pocket I just know is there - but it isn't! It's in another jacket! So I made up a quick sketch when I had absolutely nothing else to do (at home, recovering from surgery - reruns get old real fast). Just so I had a good mind picture of what's where in each.

Otherwise I would occasionally find myself fishing around in a slew of pockets trying to find something I needed and can't remember which deep pocket I put it into. (You would have to understand the amount of "stuff" I usually have with me!)

It took me a bit of planning, too, but I figured out a good system for myself. It had always been important to me to carry some EDC essentials - flashlight, multitool, etc. in addition to typical stuff like a cellphone and wallet, but I never figured out a good way to EDC a multitool or anything bigger than a small flashlight. Now I can carry a Surefire Z2 without wearing it on my belt, and there is an interior pocket in the Evolution that fits my multitool perfectly. They used to reside in my laptop bag most of the time, but that's not something always at your side.

I never pictured myself ever taking the sleeves off something, but then I tried it on my Evolution and it worked out really well - not awkward at all. This was a good discovery. For running out to the store, I find the hoodie or Q-zip to be great for phone/wireless device/keys/wallet. For running, a Performance T-shirt and TEC hat cover all the bases.

Yeah, I work for SeV, but I was a fan for years before that.... :)
