I know this has been requested before, but perhaps if enough people request it, it will be considered.
I have had a Wilson's Leather "Quest Coat" (link) (http://www.wilsonsleather.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1833253&cp=1855604.2013496&view=all&parentPage=family) for a few years now, and I love it dearly. I wear it everywhere I go. There's just one thing I can think of that would improve it: more pockets. And that just so happens to be the specialty of ScotteVest. My dad has a ScotteVest jacket and I envy the pockets he has. My coat has only 3 inner pockets and two hand warmer pockets on the outside.
I live in a very rainy climate, so outer pockets are not as useful (items in them tend to get wet). I also carry a wide range of items; however, I am limited to few pockets. What I would want (and pay good money for), is a full length black leather trench coat similar to the one I have (linked above), except have the ScotteVest pockets. (Full length being just above the ankles)
In addition to the usual ScotteVest pockets (and personal LAN), the lower section of the coat should also be utilized. Larger pockets could be in the lower portion, for magazines (Maximum PC and such). I'd like to be able to carry all the items I want to. I'd carry things like music players, thumb drives, a mini screw driver set, paper towels (they come in handy when caught in a place without them), PDAs... the list goes on. As it is, just to prove how much of a geek I am, I carry 3 feet of CAT 6 networking cable. And what is a ScotteVest (or trench coat for that matter) without hidden pockets?
Please consider designing and selling a trench coat like this, I’m sure I’m not the only person that would buy one (or two).
Thanks.
