The Secret Pocket Club
SCOTTEVEST/SeV is currently accepting requests for membership in "The Secret Pocket" - a special club for select SeV Owners. The benefits are many, the requirements are few... but we are limiting initial membership to 200 people (so don't delay)!
What you will get:
* Advanced notice on new products, including the ability to pre-order before anyone else. We have some new products coming out soon that will surely sell out, so this is a golden way to get on the list.
* Advanced notice of sales and/or secret sale codes that will not be published elsewhere.
* Exclusive content, including access to view and comment on upcoming SeV videos before they are released. Your comments could shape the future of SeV!
* Contests - separate from our other contest programs, fewer entries = better chances.
* Special tag line on your forum posts to indicate that you are on the 'inside.' (Ok, so maybe this last one is kinda lame, but there are plenty of new things we're working on that you'll have access to first).
For consideration, send a Private Message to me with the following info:
* When/where did you first hear about SeV
* Which SeV products do you have
* A story or photos of your experience with our products would be great! (We will, of course, have the right to use your story/images on our site... so if you don't want it displayed, don't send it!)
Shortcuts:
* If you have done a blog review, or video review, or video/photos of yourself someplace cool wearing an SeV... well, you'll be at the top of the list for membership (send a link).
* If you have an SeV Newsletter, order receipt or something that shows you have been an SeV fan for 4+ years that will pop you to the top of the list.
* If you have purchased an SeV within May/June 2008 (forward your receipt)... top of the list.
* If you post 10 or more comments on Scott's blog in June 2008(sensible/conversational comments, not spam, flame or trolling)... top of the list.
* If you make 50 or more (sensible, not spam, flame or trolling) posts on the SeV Forum in June 2008... top of the list.
Seriously... we will make this worth your while....

Secret Pocket
I first heard of Scottevest back in the PDA days at MobilePanet looking for cases for all the portable devices
Over time I have found the hidden pocket slacks to be the most valuable. I fact they get stolen out of the laundry more than I wear them out. I guess a compliment to the popularity. As troubling this is, I always replace them since nothing compares.

I first heard about SEV in 2002. I own several of the "system" jackets, plus all season jacket. I just ordered a hoodie and pullover. My best is the leather limited edition seen here http://community.scottevest.com/phot...9/limit/recent. Look forward to being a "s_c_et" member and p_ev_ew__g new items. Thanks!

* I first heard about SeV through an on-line CCW Instructor's blog; they said the product was superior, and it was! Purchased the product(s) both for my personal wear, and to show to CCW Students as a great alternative to the "other" vests out there.
* I wear a Travel-Vest daily - other than when the OAT's exceed 100-degrees. Plan to add a tec shirt (next) and Evolution jacket (this Fall)
* No stories to tell, other than my enjoyment with the comments I get from students when I start pulling stuff out of the vest. They're normally very impressed with how much you can stow, and how little it shows! IOn addition to a 1911 in an IWB holster I carry to extra magazines for my carry-weapon, a cell-phone, a tactitical flash-light and occasionally a music-source. I keep the ear-bud for my cell-phone in the vest along with the sterio buds for my MP3 player. When I get some photos I think worthy, I'll forward them, too!

fdiaferio, that Limited Edition looks awesome!
I've got several TEC shirts, pullovers, the hoodie, the tactical fleece and I can't remember what else! Don't wear them very often which is a pity, cos I ordered the wrong sizes and being in Australia, postage back and forth is pretty crazy so I use a forwarding service that takes aaaaages to ship.
Also *had* the cargo shorts, which I've lost. They're my favourite and I take them everywhere I travel The upside is that I just ordered the convertible cargo pants instead, along with the Evolution and another pullover And I would've gotten the microfleece pullover too if only I'd seen it earlier...
Re: the shortcuts, do we get bumped to the top automatically with our June order, or do we still have to PM?

I heard about Scottevest when I was doing a google search for concealed carry clothing. This was approximately a month or so ago. Since then I've placed two orders for the 270D Jacket and the Tactical 4.0. No real stories yet as it's bit hot down here in Texas to where jackets although I have travelled with the 270D Jacket and found it useful going through airport security. Future potential stories: I'm hoping to find the pants on sale in the near future <hint hint> as they would be useful for me when I travel to a few other places including China. Pickpockets and organized beggars as young as 5-6 years old tend to target travellers with bulging pockets for wallets and valuables. I think that the cargo pants will be useful in storing items in less typical areas of the pants. I'd love to see something in the form of flat front dress trousers.

That's a great story... maybe we can get a LoJack to fit in one of the hidden pockets?

I missed out on the Milan leather jacket... there seems to be a lot of people around who have them and love them!

Hi sdslim - one of the main advantages of the SeV for CCW is that it does not have a 'trademark' look that prints you from 1/4 mile away. It's not concealed if they know you're carrying it. I think you'll like the TEC shirt a lot, since it has snaps down the front for quick access under the shirt. Stay safe,

You'll like the cargo pants since they convert into shorts, too - they're really handy for travel. The Evolution is one of my favorites, too.

Hi baldmonk - I made another post above about the TEC shirt for CCW... check that out. It's suitable for wear in warmer weather as a cover garment and can get the job done.
I'm not sure when the pants will go on sale next (though Secret Pocket Club members always get the heads-up before everyone else). The Hidden Cargo Pants would be great against pickpockets since you can put real valuables in the lower/deeper pockets, and "pocket money" in the typical hip pockets. If someone reached into the layered pocket while you were wearing them... you would know. There is also a zippered hidden pocket inside one of the hip pockets, just in case. If it weren't for the pocket cards, you might not find all the pockets in these... so no one else will, either!

I love your products
I first purchased a tactile jacket and fleece liner in May 2008. Since this is summer I used the fleese to trave to SF, CA. Prior to this was my favorite LL Bean Jacket with 6 pockets. With the fleece jacket I was able to put all my stuff (cell phone, camera, Nuvi GPS, keys, change, wallet, travel papers, etc) in my fleese. I used to do the X-ray dance of unloading all my stuff into my briefcase, taking off my shoes running them through the X-ray and doing an encore of the X-ray dance to put all the stuff back. It was sooooo nice not to empty everything out (still had to do the shoe thing). Since May I made two additonal orders (which concerns my wife ) that included two pairs of the cargo pants, a hat, and a second fleece. I was impressed since I ordered two different size pants I received an email to confirm my order (I made the mistake but it was nice to have someone confirm this) and the order was corrected painlessly. The magnetic clips are ingenious. Quality is top notch. Keep up the good design and work. The only thing that I though could be improved is the small pull tabs on the zipper. But I saw your post that you were going to use larger tabs, Keep up the good design and innovation.
Regards

Hi zatoichi (cool name, btw). I was wearing my hoodie last night and it's great for when it gets just a little chilly.
What do you think about the new site and updated forum? It's still a bit of a work in progress, so we really do listen to comments.....
